Mrs. Yolanda Perez, BA, 3rd Grade Teacher

Ms. Perez, a native of Puerto Rico who grew up in Brooklyn, NY, is currently teaching 3rd grade. One of her top priorities is to foster a welcoming and safe classroom community that inspires students to learn and grow. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 and 16 years of teaching experience across public, private, and Christian schools, Ms. Perez is a seasoned educator who is dedicated to her craft. In addition to teaching, she has also been tutoring for the past ten years and thoroughly enjoys helping students succeed.

When not in the classroom, Ms. Perez is a devoted cat lover and has a particular fondness for "Pete the Cat" books. Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students are evident in her classroom, where she strives to create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
