  • Confidentiality: Teachers must maintain the privacy of student information confidential unless there is a legal or safety concern.
  • Professional Boundaries: Teachers should avoid any type of relationship with students that could be exploitative or compromise their professional role.
  • Promoting Learning: Teachers must provide the best education and create a positive stimulating learning environment.

  Ethical Conduct

  • Modeling Positive Behavior: Teachers must demonstrate strong character traits, such as perseverance, honesty, and respect to staff, parents and students.
  • Demonstrating Constructive Feedback: Teachers must offer positive feedback that is specific, timely, and helpful to students' learning.
  • Supporting Diverse Learners: Teachers should create inclusive classrooms that meet the needs of all students.
  • Confidentiality: Teachers must keep student information private and share it only with Supervisors and approved individuals.
  • Discrimination: Teachers should not discriminate against students based on race, religion, gender, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Avoiding Conflicts of Interest: Teachers should not use their position to gain personal advantage/gains.
