Educated Minds Academy is looking to fill the position of a lead teacher who can fulfill the following responsibilities: Teaching, Diaper-changing, Developing lesson plans, and conducting planned activities throughout the day.

You must possess previous experience and CPR/first aid certification. A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred.

Educated Minds Academy is currently seeking an assistant teacher for our 2 and 3/4-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs children, a positive work history, and a passion for teaching. The position is available for an immediate start, and we require a person who is flexible, patient, committed, and maintains excellent attendance.

Job Duties:

-Organize children’s creative, social and educational activities to prepare them for preschool

-Teach young children rules of conduct and learning new tasks

-Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents

-Supervise, collect data, and keep developmental records of children’s progress during lessons, activities, and on the playground

-Train and mentor new teacher assistants

-Collaborate with fellow teachers

-Follow all local regulations and safety protocols

-Create a learning environment that is safe, fun, and nurturing for students
